Recalling the Memorandum of the 16th of March 2023 signed between “Wikimedia Armenia” scientific educational NGO and the “Institute of Liberal Politics” NGO, and within the frames of the “Combating hate speech through spreading free knowledge” project, an Editothon on the topic of “Hate speech and Freedom of Speech” will be organized on 20-24 of September in Tsaghkadzor. Before the Wikiunion, training courses By Wikimedia Armenia will be conducted for those who do not know how to use the toolkit of Wikipedia and develop an article. The courses will be held in the office of Wikimedia Armenia (Address: Yerevan, Arshakunyants Ave. 4, Press building, 4th floor). Alongside those training sessions, participants will enrich their knowledge on the topic through theoretical lectures. The training is intended for those who have educational background in law, journalism, and political science, and for those who study in these disciplines.
