Despite these achievements, the idea of gender equality still lacks the necessary support, and being a woman can mean facing a barrier in certain economic, social, and political contexts even today. Quite often women have to put in extra effort and use extra resources to get what they really deserve.

To avoid discrimination and other prejudices conditioned by society’s perception of gender, some women just go with what is acceptable for society and is less risky, rather than what can actually make them happy.

Thus, the struggle for women’s rights and gender equality continues actively. Considering the aforementioned problems, the Institute of Liberal Politics has prepared this motivational notebook, which can be useful to all women, to be more assertive in the search for their own role in society as a woman, and to make them more enthusiastic in the struggle for equal opportunities having the thoughts of powerful women who lived in different time periods.
