Training course on the topic of “Basic Human Rights” in Arpi community
Training course on the topic of “Basic Human Rights” in Arpi community A training session was held on the 24th of June for the 12–16-year-old beneficiaries of Arpi Youth Center, in the Arpi village of Vayots Dzor region.
The topic: “Basic Human Rights”. The trainers were the chairperson of the Institute of Liberal Politics Tatevik Matinyan and lawyer Norayr Baghdasaryan. Norayr represented topics of “History of Human Rights” and “Development of Human Rights”. Tatev spoke about human rights in general, what are inseparable rights, when those rights can be limited by the state, and how they are executed on the ground.
The course ended with a Q&A session. The Library of the Arpi Youth Center got 50 new books as a gift from our Institute. During the next meeting, we will discuss the legal aspects of the stories in the books. This kind of meeting will be held systematically. By the way, this wonderful Center was established by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Armenia.The topic: “Basic Human Rights”.
