Summary of the First Training Course “Let’s Prevent Bullying by Combining Efforts”
The “Let’s Prevent Bullying by Combining Efforts” training has been successfully completed. 30 teachers from all the regions of Armenia and Yerevan took part in it.
The project lawyer and expert Norayr Baghdasaryan delivered an opening speech.
The first session was about “Bullying in Schools and applied approaches towards Prevention”. The trainer was a psychotherapist, co-founder, and CEO of the “Nor Luyce” Mentoring Center for Youth NGO Shogher Mikayelyan.

The second topic was “Aggressive Behavior as a Hidden Form of Bullying”. The speaker was the officer for the mentoring phase of “Nor Luyce” NGO, MA in psychology Karine Harutyunyan.
The first day of the training concluded with the “Olweus Frames of Bullying: Mapping Forced Games, Actual Beating and Bullying” topic. Speaker: Ph.D. in pedagogy, expert in education Misha Tadevosyan.
The first session of the first day was “Emotional Intelligence as a Bullying Prevention Mechanism”. Speaker: lecturer at the Department of Education, Psychology and Sociology of ASPU, RPPC trainer and expert Ani Khudoyan.
The last session was “State’s role in preventing, finding out and reacting to bullying”. The last speaker was the head of the Department of Children’s Rights Protection of the Ombudsman’s staff Anahit Khachatryan.
At the end of the training course, the chairperson of the Institute of Liberal Politics Tatevik Matinyan gave certificates to all the participants.
Training is conducted by the Institute of Liberal Politics with the assistance of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Armenia.
