On the 2nd of April 2023, 2 different groups partook in the “media literate citizen” training. 

This time, the course was specially adapted for children. Pupils of the 7th grade of Aygehovit’s secondary school learned: What is media and what does it mean to be media literate? What is hate speech? What is a fact and what is a judgment? They played thematic games suitable for their age and received prizes (“Adventures of Harry Potter” book)
Expert of the “Media Initiatives’ Center” worked with the adults. The course was also very intense and full. Participants strengthened the gained knowledge through playing the “Adventures of Literatus”. 

The game has 3 phases and was developed to teach getting correct information. The online version can be played in 5 languages. In the first stage, participants open the cards and try to guess where the picture on it was shot. For guessing right, they need to consider every detail: weather, time of the day, other details. Training is conducted by the Institute of Liberal Politics with the assistance of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Armenia.
