Supporting Transparent and Reliable Media

The Institute of Liberal Politics being loyal to its main directions of functioning starts the “Supporting Transparent and Reliable Media” project. The aim of the project is promoting free and independent audiovisual media by developing a toolkit for preventing hate speech and disinformation in media. Within the project needs assessment and international legal analysis will be conducted, which will later serve as a cornerstone for developing legislative amendment proposals.

Besides, several public discussions will be held in which any stakeholder can partake. Approaches and opinions that will be raised during the discussion will be taken into consideration.

At the end of the project, a presentation will be organized, and the amendments proposal will be published. Then, a series of discussions with decision-makers will follow.

The project is implemented with the assistance of Friedrich Nauman’s “For Freedom” Foundation, and in collaboration with the Television and Radio Commission of Armenia.
